Wondering how to set up a conference call? Here is a very quick step-by-step guide to help you get started: 1) Choose a phone conferencing service that best fits your needs. Along the top of this page, you'll see some options you have. If you are going to have conference calls occasionally, then choose the Pay as You Go option. If you are going to have a lot of conference calls, then the Flat Rate plan will serve you better. 2) Once you've ordered the conference service you want, you'll get an email, usually within 30 minutes with the subject "Conference Confirmation." Inside the email you'll see the conference call-in number (everyone calls that number) and two passcodes — one for you, the host, and the other for your guests. 3) Email your conference participants and explain to them three things. First, what time they should call into the conference. Second, the call-in number so they know what number to dial. And third, the passcode they enter when they hear the recorded prompt. It is very important to remind them to follow their passcode with the # (pound) sign. If they forget, they won't get into the conference. That's it! That's all you have to know about setting up a conference call. From start to finish, it can take less than 30 minutes to have access to high quality conferencing bridges with professional customer service and backup. Better yet, today's conferencing services are "on-demand" and enable you to have access to them 24/7, without the need to make reservations. (Reservations are necessary if you want our operator managed calls. Our operators will dial-out to your participants and put them into the conference for you. The only thing your participants have to do is answer the phone. These calls are for legal or other high level/profile conferences.)
